OUR HISTORY

On May 5th, 2005, we were incorporated as St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in the city of Aurora, Illinois. Affiliated with the Lutheran Synod of Missouri, "The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod" (LCMS).

Witnessing the growth of the Hispanic population of our city, a group of faithful disciples of Christ guided by the Holy Spirit and under the leadership of Pastor Reverend Alex Merlo, made the following decision: Buy the building of the sister congregation St. Paul that they would put up for sale.  God opened the doors for this group with vision, compassion and love for souls, to buy the property and the new congregation to have a temple where they praise God and equate his disciples.  Since then, we have been an autonomous, self-sustaining congregation committed to expanding the kingdom of God.

OUR VISION

We are and will continue to be a community of believers in Christ, who experience and inspire transformed lives through the word and grace of God.  That with the power of the Holy Spirit, who grants faith and healing in a broken world, we make and will continue to make every effort and investment so that people  know and worship the one true Lord of lords and God of

gods; Jesus Christ.

OUR MISSION

"Sharing the love of Jesus Christ"
